Background music is so charming, it drags feelings out of us. I can feel my dad's presence in Krishnan's role. Story beautifully depicts an ideal relationship between father and son. This movie is dedicated to every father son duo. Story writer has shown an entire life story of Surya and Krishnan in a single movie. Watching this movie is like finding 'The Best In Quintillion'. Only negative thought: I really wished that there were subtitles so that we could understand what Hindi words were spoken. Although it was not very fast paced, the creative sounds made it worthwhile. I felt that she was thrown in but there needed to be something to make the movie going.

Most movies always talk about mother as the motivation and somehow portray the dad as military style attitude or just thrown in for show but this movie was all about a dad's motivation, a dad who was living and compassionate. What I really like about this movie was that it showed how fathers are important as well. Gautham Menon and Suriya share a good rapport as their previous film ‘Khaakha Khaakha’ had hit the bull’s eye.Įxpectations are very high on ‘Varanam Aayiram’ as the movies is nearing completion and getting ready for release.This movie was well made with nice melodious songs. It featured Surya along with NSG Commandos appearing in a stunt sequence.Īfter a great ordeal, permission was obtained to shoot at the air force station. Meanwhile, a few important sequences for the movie were shot in the Air Force Station in Sulur near Coimbatore recently. With musical score by Harris Jayaraj, the movie has already hogged the headlines for Surya appearing with six pack abs in the film. Gautham Menon’s ‘Varanam Aayiram’ starring Surya, Divya Spandana, Sameera Reddy and Simran is shaping up very fast.
